Startup Workshops 2 by Startup MGZN is going virtual!

You called, we answered. Bahraini women, we’re glad you enjoyed and benefited from the first workshop in our Startup Workshops 2 project. Since we’re all quarantined, what time better than now to continue with your learning journey in the field of entrepreneurship?

Startup Workshops is a series of practical workshops for individuals that are looking to venture into the entrepreneurship field to learn the needed skills to launch their startups and entrepreneurs that are looking to grow their knowledge. Startup Workshops 2 takes on a slightly different spin with a specifically designed program for an all-female audience

Yes, COVID-19 is around, but we’re not letting it get in the way of the continuity of StartUp Workshops 2 or your knowledge building; especially when it comes to building your own tech startup. How? We’re going virtual!

What’s the virtual workshop about? Building your tech startup in Bahrain.
When will it happen? May 18-19, 2020.
Where will it take place? You’ll get to learn, grow, and enjoy your time in the comfort of your own house. The workshop will be virtual, with Zoom being the medium.
Who will be teaching? Meet the instructor who’ll walk you through the entirety of the virtual workshop, Yazin Alirhayim! Yazin is the founder of Amal AI, an app that automatically tracks your spending. He was previously VP, Payments at Souq — which he joined through the acquisition of White Payments, a credit card processing company he began in 2015.

Sounds enticing, doesn’t it? Register, grab your notepads and pens, and build your tech startup while you’re at home, in your most comfortable PJs! Click on the link in our bio to proceed with the registration process. Remember, the program is dedicated to Bahraini women.

The project is funded by the U.S. Government and is made possible through strategic partnerships with entities that are heavily involved in the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Bahrain including Tamkeen Bahrain, Zain Bahrain, Obai & Hill organizers of Women Power Summit, Majra, and the Manama Chapter of the Global Shapers.
