Zain Bahrain’s Ramadan Tournament comes to an end with total prizes of $8,500 given to teams and players

Zain Bahrain, a leading telecoms operator in the Kingdom ends its first of its kind football tournament “Zain Ramadan Tournament” yesterday with a success. The tournament which was a collaboration with Bahrain-based football community App Malaeb started on 18th May to 20th May with a total of 32 Bahraini football teams.

Zain Ramadan Tournament took place at eight different stadiums located in Bahrain where the final match was held at Gravity in Zallaq on 20th May between the late Ahmed Jassim Team and Al Saagha Team. The late Ahmed Jassim Team came first and were awarded $5000, while Al Saagha Team were awarded $2500 for placing second and Super Soccer Team placed third was awarded $1000.

In addition, Zain Ramadan Tournament management awarded several top players with smartphones; Mahdi Abduljaber was awarded as the best striker and Ahmed Mirza was awarded as the top player both from the late Ahmed Jassim Team. While Mahmoud Mohsen from Al Saagha Team was awarded as the best goalkeeper in the tournament.
