Careem is increasing its portfolio to include bus-booking services. Careem Bus – aimed at attracting low-income earners, is currently being tested out in Egypt and is expected to launch sometime in September in four cities. According to a report by Bloomberg, the company plans to distribute the service across 14 countries.
This is not the first time Careem has expanded to take on other services, Careem is already
providing package delivery services in both Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and it also recently invested $150 million to launch a food delivery service – which is due to take the market by storm later this year.
