Top 100 MENA Startups Raised Over $1.42 MAGNiTT Report Finds

MAGNiTT did a research about the the startup ecosystem in the MENA region with aims to track the evolution and changes that has occurred within the startup community in order to keep stakeholders informed. According to the research, these 100 MENA startups, which include Souq.com, Fetcher, Careem and more, have raised $1.42 in total. The founder of MAGNiTT Philip Bahoshy explains that the reason behind this study is to understanding the “DNA of successful entrepreneurs” in the MENA region and at the same time “identify some key attributes to those who have been successful.”

The study also explores the experience level of the startup founders who managed to be in the top 100. Research shows that these founders had around nine years worth of experience after graduating, and around three years more of experience before launching their companies.
