According to the research, these 100 MENA startups, which include, Fetcher, Careem and more, have raised $1.42 in total. The founder of MAGNiTT Philip Bahoshy explains that the reason behind this study is to understanding the “DNA of successful entrepreneurs” in the MENA region and at the same time “identify some key attributes to those who have been successful.”

The study also explores the experience level of the startup founders who managed to be in the top 100. Research shows that these founders had around nine years worth of experience after graduating, and around three years more of experience before launching their companies.
