Seedstars Summit MENA to shape the future of entrepreneurship with the top 20 startups from the region this December

 Seedstars, the leading emerging market startup community and investor, will host its 4th Seedstars Summit MENA in Morocco on December 10th to 12th. Wrapping up the 2019 Seedstars World Competition in MENA, the Summit will showcase the  most promising startups who will pitch in front of investors and industry experts.

To celebrate the opening of the new Seedspace in Casablanca in partnership with Kowork, the event will be held in Morocco. It will take place at the Hyatt Regency Casablanca and gather over 150 key stakeholders from over 15 countries in a 3 day journey that will conclude with a main stage conference with the flagship topic: How will technology shape our future? 

Traditionally, the Seedstars Summit is divided in three days. On December 10th, previous to the main event, the journey will begin with an intensive private growth bootcamp for the startups, where the participating teams will learn how to grow and scale their business. More than 150 high-quality investors, experts and founders will be present, including Amine AlHazzaz (General Manager de HSEVEN), Adnan Filali (Managing partner at AF Advisory & Capital), Meriem Zairi (Managing Director at SEAF) and many more. 

To conclude it all, the third and main day (December 12th) will welcome all the participants willing to learn the latest tech trends, network and meet inspiring founders and entrepreneurs.

The introduction message will be given by Alisée deTonnac (CEO, Seedstars World). Following up on her speech, two panels will highlight “What it takes to scale up a successful startup” and “Explore the rising trends in tech and entrepreneurship in MENA”.

The panelists, Selma Bennis (Head of Partnership and Strategy, OCP), Mai Medhat (CEO & Co-Founder of Eventtus), Amal Dokhan (Director of Babson Global Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership), Rami Helali (Co-Founder & CEO, KOTN), Saad Jittou (Co-Founder & CEO,Weego), Adnane Addioui (Ashoka Fellow and Co-Founder of the Moroccan Center for Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship), Sophia El Bahja (Executive and Operations Director, NoBox Lab), Kenza Bounjou (Partner, Dentons), Tarik Fadli (CEO of Algo Consulting), have already confirmed their participation as speakers of the Summit.

The most promising ventures will then be selected to participate in the Seedstars Summit 2020 in Lausanne, Switzerland and compete for the title of the Seedstars Global Winner. The participating teams will get a chance to pitch their idea on the main stage along with 60+ startups from all over the world and win up to USD 500 000 in equity investments.
