Podeo, the Arab world’s largest audio podcast platform, has raised an undisclosed round of funding to help the company move closer towards its mission of making podcast consumption accessible to all Arabic speakers.
The funding round was led by Razor Capital, with co-investment participation from Globivest VC, and strategic investors holding senior positions in various media and tech companies.
Founded in 2019, Podeo’s technology provides a localized experience for listening to Arabic and English audio podcasts through mobile apps. Podeo owns the largest audio podcast catalog in the Arab world, featuring hundreds of exclusive shows and famous names in the Middle East media and entertainment industry.
