NBB partners with Kingdom University to provide Education Financing

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Kingdom University as part of the Bank’s Education Finance product. The ceremony was held at NBB’s headquarters in the attendance of Prof. Nader Al-Bastaki and Mr. Mahmood Fareed from the Kingdom University, alongside Mr. Subah Abdullatif Al Zayani and Mr. Ahmed Al Maskati from the National Bank of Bahrain.

In line with the Bank’s commitment towards community investment, NBB’s education finance product will provide the university’s students with suitable financial solutions to cover their academic expenses, with a tenor of up to 7 years. Customers will make use of NBB’s competitive interest rates and a seamless approval process, as well as zero processing and insurance fees.

In addition, eligible students will also have the opportunity to join NBB’s internship programme to gain valuable insight into the industry as well as post-graduate training experience. 

Commenting on the partnership, Subah Abdullatif Al Zayani, Chief Executive – Retail Banking at NBB, said: “In line with the Bank’s ESG framework, which focuses on investing in the future of our community and its youth, we are pleased to be partnering with Kingdom University to extend our financial solutions across various academic institutions in Bahrain.
