Dubai Startup Hub join forces with four UAE-based companies to further support startups


Dubai Startup Hub, an initiative of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, just announced the signing of several deals between four leading UAE corporates and organizations. These include Dubai Chamber, flydubai, Emirates NBD and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, and the three winning startups of the MarketAccess program.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) was unveiled during a deal signing ceremony that was held at Dubai Chamber’s premises, which covered a number of industries, business projects, and objectives, with the agreements remaining valid for a year.

Dubai Chamber signed a MoU with Digital Falcon, an online marketing agency. Both entities will be working together to boost Dubai Startup Hub’s digital presence. Moreover, flydubai just revealed their strategic agreement with the cybersecurity company VUL9 to deliver security staff monitoring and related services to the airline’s offices across the UAE.

In addition, Emirates NBD signed an MoU with VUL9, which will be working¬†with the bank’s cybersecurity team on key projects and initiatives. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles also announced a deal with LoadMe, an online marketplace for freight exchange, to develop a solution that is going to drive the company’s commercial vehicle sales in the Middle East.

Hisham Abdullah Al Shirawi, 2nd Vice Chairman of Dubai Chamber mentioned in he welcome remarks that the first cycle of the MarketAccess program had more than 130 SMEs and startups submitted their business ideas and solution whereby the quality of the submissions exceeded the Chamber’s expectations.
