This UAE startup raises $300k in seed funding

Keepface, a Dubai-based influencer marketing platform just raised $300k in seed round funding, with a privately owned ventured capital firm operating in the MENA region.

Keepface was previously valued at $2m during its valuation process. What this startup basically does is connects brands and advertising agencies with social influencers, and so far it has over 2,000 influencers and 50 brands listed on the website.

Chief Executive Vagif Abbasov explains the process of Keepface stating: “We use big data to categorize the influencers so that the system can automatically offer the most relevant influencers to the brands according to their target group and marketing objectives.”

The startup ensures that all influencers that work as freelancers on this platform are paid for putting together and sharing the brands’ content.

According to Vagif, they’re going to use the funds raised to expand the team to meet their client’s and product demand.
