The first cybersecurity forum/exhibition will be launched by Bahrain Institute of Banking and Financial Studies (BIBF) under the patronage of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) and Tamkeen. The exhibition titled “Bahrain Cybersecurity Forum/Expo 2017” will run for three days from May 16th to the 18th.
The Head of Operations, IT and Project Management at BIBF, Ahmed Naeemi said: “With Cyber-attacks being on the rise, Cyber Security has now become a priority for many organizations in order to protect their data and information. There is a vital need for organizations to be equipped with the latest knowledge and trends to learn the know-how of managing Cyber Security threats.”
Through this exhibition, BIBF aims to spread awareness and enrich the knowledge of people about cyber security. This will be done mainly through workshops and training sessions.
