Bahrain’s “Youth Hub” incubator to be launched in October

Press Release.

Ms Khawla Alshaikh, Director of the “Collective Hub”, stated that the trial operation of the “Youth Hub” incubator will launch in the Yateem Centre in the Old Manama Souq next October, as part of the MOU signed between the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs, Ali and Mohamed Yateem Brothers Company, and The Collective Hub.

“The Youth Hub incubator will offer Bahraini entrepreneurs and innovative startups in several sectors the optimal working environment. It will also concentrate on concepts and initiatives linked with the Yateem Centre in the Old Manama Souq, such as initiatives associated with art, fashion, and products tied with the authentic Bahraini heritage.” According to Ms Alshaikh.

Ms Alshaikh also confirmed that the incubated companies will be supported to promote their products, whether in the Yateem Centre or other areas, within the framework of an integrated marketing plan that ensures the enhancement of the presence of these products in various markets, and added: “The Collective Hub will provide training and development programs for Bahraini startup projects and companies incubated at Youth Hub, benefiting from its accumulated experience in mentoring Bahraini entrepreneurs.”

Ms Alshaikh concluded her statement by affirming “Collective Hub” desire to move these incubated companies to a sustainable point where they can develop, leave the incubator and compete in the actual market, as well as extend outside of Bahrain.
