Tamkeen Launches Its New One-Stop-Shop in Seef Mall

Tamkeen Board Chairman HE Sh.Mohammed bin Essa AlKhalifa officially inaugurated Tamkeen’s Customer Service Centre at Seef Mall on Thursday, 4 July. Tamkeen’s CEO Mahmood Al-Kooheji and the executive team, Board members, as well as a number of officials and media representatives, also attended the opening.

The new facility has been fully equipped and designed to ensure the provision of high quality services. The extensively trained staff will be available to handle all customer needs, including programme information, registration processes, eligibility criteria, and the required documentation, as well as guiding customers to the programmes that best serve their interest and objectives.

Moreover, Customers can also now submit applications for Tamkeen’s enterprise development programmes and attend the relevant orientation sessions at the new centre.

Regular working hours at Tamkeen’s new customer service centre will be from 8.00 am to 4:00 pm. During Ramadan, the working hours will be over two shifts; from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

Q & A about the new Customer Service Center

Can Customers apply for the Enterprise Development Support programs at the Center?

Yes, Customers can apply for Techania, Tasweeq, Tarweej, Istishara, Jawda, and professional certification. Soon, The center will also be receiving applications for BDB finance scheme and a new programme called basic skills.

 How about the programmes which are outsourced to partners?

All applications for other programmes that have been outsourced to a partner, are received by our partners at their offices.

Is this going to replace the existing application process at KPMG?

This will not replace the application process in KPMG immediately. Customers can choose to either go to Meral building or Seef customer service center but eventually, in approximately 4 to 8 weeks, all customer service activities including application handling will be done at the Tamkeen Customer Service Centre, Seef mall and Tamkeen offices in BCCI building 17th floor.

What other services will be offered by the Center?

Other services include orientation sessions, one on one advisory with the customer service agents, self-assessment for basic skills scheme.
