Tamkeen and ThinkSmart are organizing the 2nd edition of “Forsati” Program in cooperation with Microsoft, find out what’s in it for you

The Labour Fund “Tamkeen” holds today an open meeting as part of “Forsati” program, in cooperation with ThinkSmart for training and development and Microsoft at the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

More than 1500 Bahrainis are aimed to be trained in the various fields of the ICT sector through the Microsoft-approved “Forsati” program. The program is aimed to equip trainees with the latest Microsoft programs skills, develop their capabilities in business, and prepare them for the labor market in line with the highest productivity and proficiency standards.

Dr. Ebrahim M. Janahi Chief Executive of Tamkeen said that Tamkeen is increasingly interested in training and encouraging Bahrainis to fill the specific jobs created by the labor market within the context of making Bahrainis the first choice in employment.

Dr. Janahi stressed the importance of the ICT sector as a generator of quality business opportunities, especially as the technology sector has become essential in any development, in addition to the growing trend among the entrepreneurs towards using IT as the basis for developing their projects by relying more and more on developments in this sector such as Cloud computing, applications, information management systems and others.

Mr. Ahmed Al Hujairy, CEO of ThinkSmart said in a statement “Forsati program is designed to encourage Empowerment of Bahraini Professionals in order to meet the regular challenges they face due to ever-changing ICT trends and each organizations’ distinctive needs”.

“Under this Special Initiative, after successful Microsoft Certifications, each trainee will also go through Business Training matching the trainee’s aspiration – Employability or Entrepreneurship. All Trainees on the path of Employability will go thru a National Match Making, aligning them with the Industry’s top Companies and increasing possibilities of successful candidates getting right opportunities at ICT Sector”. Mr. Al Hujairy added.

“On the other hand, candidates on the path of Entrepreneurship will be provided with a special on the cloud package followed by National Level Match Making with the top Accelerators in the country, helping them launching their own Businesses” Mr. Al Hujairy  Concluded.
