Are you a university student that has little to no plans in the summer? Boredom and lack of productivity kills – we feel you. This is why we bring you F.U.N, a program that’s going to keep you pumped up and psyched this summer!
F.U.N (Future University Network) is a program by Zain Bahrain for university students. The program, which is available throughout the year, is designed mainly for university students to help them develop their employability skills and prepare them for the job market.
We spoke to Mohammed Isa, Employee Relations and Youth Development Manager at Zain Bahrain where he explained to us how beneficial this program is. According to Mohammad, What the program basically does is training Bahraini university students by exposing them to real business world challenges in the retail sales, customer care, community services activities and more. “One of the missions of the F.U.N program is to create a pool of diverse talented youth with strong skills and high values by working in Zain’s unique corporate culture,” he said.
What’s in it for you? Well, Mohammed says that participants get to experience what’s it really like working in the corporate world. They will learn how to learn on the job, work alongside industry experts, gain deep insights, develop their business skills, build a strong network, and work with multiple departments.
And that’s not all! Participants also get to learn some essential skills including, communication skills, problem-solving, time management, decision making, sales skills, thinking skills, and business skills.
“The F.U.N program is also part of Zain’s CSR, and Bahrain 2030’s vision of increasing the employability and the standards of young Bahrainis through creating a network of outstanding youth who will add value to the Bahraini community and corporate market of Bahrain,” Mohammed concludes.
