Zain Bahrain, a leading telecoms operator in the Kingdom has collaborated with Bahrain-based football community app Malaeb to announce the first of its kind football tournament “Zain Ramadan Tournament” starting on 18h May.
Zain Ramadan Tournament will be held for three days starting on 18th May to 20th May with a total of 32 Bahraini football teams. The tournament will take place at eight different stadiums located in Bahrain where the final match will be held at Gravity in Zallaq. The first-place winning team will be awarded $5000, $2500 for the second-place and $1000 for the third-place. Top players and best goalkeeper will be awarded with prizes as well.
Zain Bahrain collaboration with Malaeb to host “Zain Ramadan Tournament” comes in line with Zain Bahrain long-established Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy of extending its reach, offers and support to startups across the Kingdom. Malaeb is a startup that helps football enthusiasts to find and book football fields and join matches in their area.
