Bahrain’s Ministry of Youth & Sports Affairs (MYS) has officially launched Youth Market in collaboration with Bahrain Real Estate Investment Company, Edamah, as part of its ever-continuous efforts to support and empower young Bahrainis in their journeys toward entrepreneurship.
For those who aren’t familiar with it, Youth Market is an event in which young Bahraini entrepreneurs can experience owning a real-life store (at one of the coolest places in Bahrain, too, if you ask us!)
The event kickstarted on the 6th of January at Saada Sea Front in Muharraq City, and will continue to take place every weekend until the very first weekend in February. If you’re excited to join the event and check out local talents (as we are), you’d be happy to know that it’s open Thursdays and Fridays from 4-11 PM, and Saturdays 4-10 PM.
As for those who’d like to participate in Youth Market, it’s never too late! Just as long as you’re a Bahraini youth aging between 18-35 years old, you’re good to go.
The best part is that you have nothing to worry about: As the team at MYSA will be taking care of setting up your booths and all that comes with them. The creme de la creme? It’s all free of charge. Talk about true support!
Youth Activities Specialist at the Ministry of Youth & Sports Affairs, Ahmed Alasad, has commented on the occasion: “It’s a great opportunity for young Bahrainis to try something new that’s beneficial for their journeys in the long haul. Hopefully, this will help them continue to venture into owning a store of their own after this experience. We aim to empower Bahraini youth and encourage them to take such risks, because it’s no secret that entrepreneurship is the way to the future.”
