Worried about the VAT? You will find this training program incredibly helpful

Vineyard Asia Technological in collaboration with MENA Centre for Investment and the Bahrain Economic Development Board are kickstarting a course on VAT starting from March 12.

The training course is dedicated towards educating and spreading awareness about the VAT to businesses and individuals, especially since the VAT is now being implemented in the GCC, and will be soon coming to Bahrain by the end of the year.

The MENA Centre for Investment and EDB have tasked economist Dr. Hana Kanoo with the training session. She will be sourcing and developing a highly focused, intensive training program.

“I looked at a range of tax implementation courses from around the world and was looking for some Reputable training institute when I came upon Vineyard Asia Technological College. We needed a relatively short course yet one that offered in-depth training. And Vineyard Asia met all our criteria,” Hana said.

She adds: “TESDA, The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority is a Philippines-based training and governing entity. Overall, TESDA formulates manpower and skills plans, sets appropriate skills standards and tests, coordinates and monitors manpower policies and programs. It also provides policy directions and guidelines for resource allocation, and training institutions in both the private and public sectors. The high standards of TESDA was certainly one of the criteria in choosing Vineyard.”

The course will start on March 12 and registration has already begun. Vineyar Technological College under the aegis of EDB and MENA will also be setting up an information and registration booth at City Center.
