UAE’s solar utility raises $940K through crowdfunding

Enerwhere, a UAE-based company that provides solar hybrid solutions for commercial and industrial-scale applications raises $940K through crowdfunding.

Founded by Daniel Zywietz in 2012, Enerwhere provides its solutions to companies in the sector of construction, real estate, mining, tourism, and agriculture. According to their profile on MAGNiTT, Enerwhere’s “highly efficient power plants reduce fuel consumption and emissions of typical diesel generators by 30-50%, leading to cost savings of 15-20%.”

In 2017, Enerwhere has had 2 investment rounds, where in February it raised $272.3K in an Angel Investment round, and in November it raised $780K although the round was undisclosed. In 2015, the company also received $10M in a Series B round by Adenium Energy Capital.
