UAE-based startup closes a seed funding of $1.5 million from iNet, 500 Startups, Shorooq Investments and more

UAE-based tech startup, Enhance just closed a seed funding of $1.5 million from investors: iNet, 500 Startups, Shorooq Investments, and other angel investors from the Gulf region, Europe, and the US.

Enhance is a startup that builds marketplace businesses to meet the needs of consumers in the MENA region. With the new funding, the startup aims to reinforce its current operations and capabilities in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt and to further expand in the Middle East.

The startup also launched an online gifting platform called joi. The platform is one of the first B2C marketplace ventures under Enhance’s umbrella, and they’re planning on scaling joi, and also launch other verticals.

Enhance Founding Partner and joi co-founder Ritesh Tilani commented on Enhance’s future plans saying: “In order to allow the Enhance model to deliver to its maximum potential, the next model will also be a marketplace targeting a specific vertical, where we would be facilitating a product or service that was traditionally offered offline to be taken online.”
