These Bahraini startups made it to an annual list of 50 most promising EdTech in MENA

The Middle East & North Africa EdTech 50 is an annual list of EdTech startups based in the The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region compiled by HolonIQ, the world’s leading platform for the global impact economy.

Although the region’s ethnic, cultural, linguistic, and religious makeup is diverse, the region that spans three continents represents a greater opportunity to accelerate innovation and close the learning and up-skilling gap.

Based on HolonIQ’s scoring fingerprint, which incorporates capital, team, market, product, and momentum, the platform’s Intelligence Unit and market specialists picked 50 promising digital education firms from 700+ EdTech startups in MENA.

Out of the selected 50 startups, three of Bahrain’s very own startups were recognized: GoMyCode as part of platforms that offer STEM solutions, Lumofy as a B2B segment under the category of Management Systems, and Telp, for Tutoring, Test Prep & Language Learning.

It is promising to see EdTech startups leveraging advanced technologies in the hopes of closing the learning and upskilling gap.
