The Arab Youth Center revealed a list of influential young Arabs and two Bahrainis made it on the list! here is everything you need to know about them

The Arab Youth Center has recently revealed a list of Arab youth leaders and influencers. The list includes distinguished people from different Arab countries of ages no more than 35, who have impacted society positively and created solutions to the challenges they faced.

Bahrainis Alharith Al Atawi and Badoor Al-Alawi were both featured on the prestigious list. Alarith Alatawi is a co-founder and CEO at ONEGCC, an employment platform which focuses on providing job opportunities for job seekers. Al Atawi is also a co-founder of Level Z, a tech startup factory with Skiplino under its belt; it is also one of the only startups the region that is creating proprietary technology. Both ONEGCC and Skiplino have been named as one of the top 15 startups in the Arab world by Forbes. Badoor Al-Alawi is a program officer at the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation for Education and is currently developing a co-curricular component of the Foundation’s flagship scholarship, which supports over 300 high-achieving, underserved Arab youth globally.

The Arab Youth Pioneers initiative serves under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and President of the Arab Youth Center. It was first launched in 2018 by the World Government Summit and aims to create a community of exceptional young Arabs to instill them with vision and positive energy to come up with positive solutions to help prosper and grow the Arab region for future generations. “Youth are an integral part of the sustainable development process and the industry of the future; their creativity transforms into opportunities that contribute to the service of societies. This list of honorable models has harnessed their skills and abilities to change their reality, creativity, and innovation in the service of their communities and create a bright future for them. This list of pioneers and influencers exemplifies the role of society in the service of sustainable development. It also provides the world with a bright picture of Arab youth and their positive impact on the development of their societies. This talented group of people motivated the creators to continue to innovate and employ their energies and abilities to be leaders in the future, and contribute to work to provide a bright future for our Arab region and our future generations.” said Shama Bint Suhail Al Mazrouei, Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs.

The initiative targets Arab youth in several key areas of strategic importance such as education, media, economics, culture and the arts, health and medicine, sports, entrepreneurship, science and technology, environment and social work within the Arab world. Saeed Al Nazari, Chief Executive Officer, Strategy at the Arab Youth Center, said: “The selection of this group of young people came after an in-depth study, during which a large number of innovative projects were introduced to a wide range of young people throughout the Arab world. Where the positive impact of their projects in their communities and the extent to which they contribute to the creation of opportunities to find solutions to the challenges facing their communities. Through this list, we seek to inspire young people on a large scale and motivate them to do more to unleash their creative potential and creativity to achieve their ambitions and change of interest and contribute to the progress of their communities.”

The initiative’s first session was held during the 2018 World Government Summit and brought together young men and women from all corners of the Arab region for a stimulating meeting and discussion to enrich Arabic societies.
