Tamkeen’s Enterprise Support Program just keeps getting better & better! Here’s why

Tamkeen will introduce more advanced solutions to its flagship Enterprise Support Program with the aim of enhancing the flexibility of the grants it provides through the program to enterprises across different categories.

Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi, Chief Executive of Labour Fund Tamkeen, noted that in addition to exhaustive studies of the labour market landscape and needs, the enhancements are also based on the outcomes of the annual and sector-specific consultation forums that take place with customers.

“The process ensures that the available support solutions are not only aligned with the needs of enterprises across their developmental stages, but also improve upon the efficiency of service delivery, in line with the government’s senior leadership’s directives to increase support to start-ups,” Janahi said.

Speaking about the details of these plans, Mr. Qusay Ali Al-Arayedh, Chief Executive Customer Engagement and Operations Officer of Tamkeen, stated, “There will be several enhancements made to the program to further improve support allocation and service delivery. These include introducing new sectors and digital solutions, as well as restructuring the internal team within Tamkeen.”

Al-Arayedh went on to explain that there will be a new support pathway to cater specifically to enterprises with virtual CRs and help them grow and expand into fully-fledged businesses. The existing sectors will also be refined according to Business’s developmental stage and its future growth potentials.

“In order to provide better services to our customers, Tamkeen is looking to provide a range of digital solutions, including partnering with BENEFIT and local banks to facilitate digital payments,” Al-Arayedh further added.  “By adopting these technologies, enterprises will be able to receive the support grants provided under Tamkeen’s Enterprise Support Program faster and more securely than ever before.”

“Achieving these objectives enhancements also necessitates restructuring our internal team to better align with the particular needs of each customer category. This is part of Tamkeen’s ongoing drive to develop its operations and services to ensure the right balance of customer accessibility and customer service quality,” Al-Arayedh said.

As part of the second phase of its 2018-2020 strategy, Tamkeen recently announced plans to revamp and enhance several of its current flagship programs, including the Business Development Program and the Training and Wage Support Program. The strategy, which is underpinned by three main pillars: diversification, acceleration and sustainability, will further bolster the effectiveness and sustainability of the impact of Tamkeen’s support programs.
