Tamkeen and Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) has once again joined hands in bringing Bahrain ICT companies and startups to one of the biggest technology events in the region, GITEX, marking the 13th year of Bahrain Pavilion.
GITEX Technology Week will be held from 6th to 10th October 2019 at Dubai World Trade Centre, leveraging business access to emerging markets, buyers and governments from more than 140 countries.
The agreement aims to support 40 ICT companies and 20 startups to take part in the event. Through this strategic partnership, BTECH and Tamkeen provide a platform that has been localized for the Bahraini market. Companies in Bahrain can now take advantage of the ease and simplicity of the platform and offer these ICT businesses the opportunity to position their products and services to a wider audience and gain more recognition on a global scale.
Tamkeen’s Chief Executive Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi stressed the importance of this annual event. “This event offers participants a promising opportunity for exposure and networking,” said Dr. Janahi.
“Supporting Bahraini exhibitors through the Bahrain Pavilion at GITEX aims to increase the contribution of technology companies in the private sector, enhance their competitiveness, develop their business and bring their products and services to the regional and global markets, as well as encourage Bahraini ICT entrepreneurs to develop their ideas and projects,” he added.
