Tamatem raised $11 million in a Series B round

KRAFTON, the South Korean game developer behind PUBG, made its first investment in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region by investing in Jordanian gaming publisher, Tamatem

The gaming sector in the region is flourishing, with a CAGR of 12.1 percent predicted between 2021 and 2026. Hussam Hammo, CEO and founder of Tamatem said: “Big things are happening for the mobile games industry in the region. We are reaping the rewards of our past successes and pushing forward with more experience and more grit.”

He added, “We are at the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the massive potential of mobile games in MENA, and I am always super elevated when more people invest in the industry and the region.”
