NBB unveils new website, further enhancing customer experience

In line with the Bank’s digitalisation strategy and its ongoing efforts to continually enhance its customer experience, the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has launched its revamped website which features a new design and functions that will elevate the customer navigation journey. 

The new and improved website has been developed using leading web technologies to allow secure web browsing, and was created to empower customers from all segments, including retail customers, SME and corporate clients, by offering them more value to their website visits. As part of the upgrade, website visitors will now be provided with easily accessible and in-depth information about NBB’s products, services, corporate activities and more. 

Commenting on NBB’s revamped website, Jean-Christophe Durand, Chief Executive Officer of NBB stated, “NBB is keen on enhancing its customer experience, and with that in mind, we have invested in upgrading our website to ensure that it is adaptable to suit the requirements and preferences of our customers, while simultaneously meeting their everyday banking needs. Providing customers an easy and convenient experience is a key focus area for NBB and significant enhancements have been made to our digital infrastructure for that sole purpose.”

With the Bank’s focus on customer centricity, searching for a suitable product will now be assisted, customers can search a product by their profile, compare products against each other, and be recommended the most suitable bundle, if the product of interest is regarding loans and finances for the retail consumer, calculating the expected monthly instalment is available with instant results. The services facilitate the customer’s decision-making process and once a product is determined, applying for a product or instantly getting is touch with a representative is available through online WebChats. The new website makes different NBB card holder promotions from various categories easily accessible, further adding to their browsing experience.

NBB’s new website is also supported by the latest geo-location service that allows visitors to locate and search for their nearest automated machine be it the ATM, Cash Deposit Machine or Interactive machines, and filter the various types of teller-machine services, visitors can also locate a branch and receive live updates on the operating hours. 

For investor relations and other purpose visits, the site provides easy access to financial information, as well as a rick library on the human assets at the organization from organization structure, Board of Director and Management Team.
