NBB announces Al Watani Saving Scheme’s ‘Dream Prize’ and monthly winners

Manama, Bahrain: The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) is pleased to announce the winners of the most-awaited Al-Watani Saving Scheme ‘Dream Prize’, with seven lucky winners receiving cash prizes amounting to USD 1,850,000 for the month of December. The Bank awarded a total of 157 winners in 2020, with cash prizes amounting to USD 4,750,000 distributed over the past year to spread joy amongst various areas of Bahrain, changing the lives of the winners across the Kingdom.

Three lucky winners received the highly-anticipated 2020 Dream prize, amounting to USD 1,750,000, with the first winner, Asma AbdulAziz AlQassab, receiving the highest cash prize of USD 1,000,000, followed by Alawi Sayed Mohamed receiving USD 500,000, and finally Balqis Abdulla Ahmed, receiving the third prize of USD 250,000. NBB also awarded winners of the monthly Al Watani Savings Scheme draw for December, where four lucky winners received cash prizes of USD 25,000, each.

The Bank celebrated their ‘Dream Prize’ winners on the 13th of January in a surprise initiative that saw Subah Al Zayani, Chief Executive of Retail Banking, Hisham Abu Alfateh, Head of Corporate Communications, Nabeel Mustafa, Head of Network Management & Safety, and Ahmed Al Maskati, Head of Retail Products, pay a visit to the winners at their homes for an individual prize handover to share in the winners’ excitement and happiness, all the while abiding by government directives to minimise the spread of the COVID-19 virus and maintain social distancing measures imposed by the Ministry of Health.
