Mark your calendars food lovers, Bahrain’s about to host its first International Hospitality & Restaurant Expo

Bahrain’s first international hospitality & restaurant expo will be held during March from 21-24, 2018 at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre.

The Bahrain Hospitality and Restaurant Expo (BHRExpo), is organized by Culinaire & Beyond, and will be held with the government’s support and the chairmanship of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, prime minister of Bahrain, and under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Isa Bin Ali Al Khalifa.

The expo will run for four days and will begin with a culinary tour. There will also be a forum that’s going to take place on March 22. Wondering what’s in it for you?

Well, to all food lovers, the event is going to host a  regional culinary competition managed in partnership with Rosario Scarpato, a chef, and CEO of The I Factor, a Hong Kong-based company specializing in events design and management, integrated communication and high-quality multimedia productions.

Its divisions are specialized in gastronomy, food and beverage, hospitality and tourism. Scarpato stated that he hoped the competition will attract chefs in both standalone and hotel-based restaurants from across the GCC.

Supporters of the event include labour fund Tamkeen, the Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
