Kingdom University hosts an International Conference for Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Yesterday, on March 18, the International Conference for Entrepreneurship and Innovation began under the patronage of Chief Executive Officier of INJAZ Bahrain Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa.

During her recorded speech, Shaikha Hessa Shaikha Hessa applauded the efforts of Kingdom University for launching the conference as it falls in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030. She also added that Bahrain is more than capable of providing a favorable ecosystem for all entreprenuers.

Moreover, the Kingdom University‘s professor Dr. Mohammed J. Terro commented on the role of entrepreneurship and innovation over the past years in Bahrain and how it played a key role in the economic development of the country. He stated that in order to create the perfect environment to support and encourage entrepreneurship, there must be a cooperation between the higher education establishments and the public and private parties.

The conference hosted a number of universities and experts from China, Sudan, Egypt, Turkey, India, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, where it highlighted the role of universities and schools in encouraging creativity and innovation while touching upon the importance of business incubators.

The International Conference for Entrepreneurship and Innovation is co-organized by the Kingdom University, the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation and the Arab Regional Center for Entrepreneurship and Investment Training (ARCEIT) with a strategic partnership by Tamkeen and INJAZ Bahrain.
