Is Dubai Going to Be Built Using 3D-Printing Robots?

Silicon Valley duo Chris Kelsy and Fernando De los Rios have teamed up with the Dubai government to 3D-print 25% of the buildings by 2030 in the UAE. Is it possible?

The startup, Cazza, plans on building those large-scale buildings using its 3D printing robots, which is basically a giant, mobile piece of crane-like equipment. According to CEO and cofounder of Cazza, Chris Kelsy: “Our technology will change the construction industry, as we are able to drastically cut labor and material costs, and time.” He states that their 3D printing robots are able to construct low-rise buildings, although constructing skyscrapers is still being tested.
