Manama, Bahrain – 24 May 2021: The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB), announced that the integration of Bahrain Islamic Bank into the NBB Group has brought improved benefits to all employees under the Group umbrella, including comprehensive medical and life insurance benefits.
As a result of the two banks’ integration, improved accessibility of the industry’s leading benefits was extended to all employees within the Group. Employees now receive unified benefits applicable to all across both organisations. The additional benefits introduced are in line with best market practices, and ensure that the NBB Group provides a sustainable and healthy standard of medical and life insurance coverage to all its employees.
In addition to the measures that were taken to combat COVID-19, the NBB Group enhanced its insurance policy to include isolation coverage in the list of available benefits. Furthermore, the Group improved current limits for existing benefits, such as maternity, dental and optical coverage. The improved Medical and Life schemes work to ensure that employee wellbeing, along with that of their families, is taken into account at all times.
