INJAZ Egypt Launches Startup Accelerator

Cairo-based startup support organization INJAZ Egypt has opened applications for its StartUp Egypt incubation program, which will offer selected startups access to training and seed funding.

The first phase of the program will see 50 startups provided with training over a period of five months. The best 20 teams will enter INJAZ’s StartUp Egypt competition, which will see them showcase their products and services at a trade fair. Seven winning teams will then enter the incubation phase, launching their business ideas to the public. These teams will be provided with office space, seed funding, and training over a period of four months. The program culminates with a demo day.

The program is open to Egyptian citizens aged between 21 and 30 years old, who have received no previous investment. Applications are open until January 29.
