Celebrating its centennial year, Global Junior Achievement will be hosting its first Global Alumni Conference. An INJAZ Bahrain Alumni delegation sponsored by The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) is set to attend the conference that will be held in Vienna, with more than 400 Alumni from over 40 countries attending the event.
The four-day conference will explore and highlight the main qualities of an entrepreneur. The key themes will focus on Communication, Innovation and risk taking. The conference will include keynote sessions, panel discussions, hands-on workshops, start-up talks, demos and networking events.
The centennial celebration will showcase the JA Village, the Olympic Village’s doppelganger. The village will be set up at various locations including Vienna’s renowned University of Economics (WU) and the beautiful green gardens surrounding it. All of the main locations will be in a walking distance of 10-15 minutes. Participants will be provided with electronic memberships to access the village. The aim of the village is to attract participants and future pioneers from all over the world in a unified electronic platform.
INJAZ Bahrain delegation comprises of 8 students including Menia Nabil Saeed, Fatima Ahmed Al Zayani (BIBF), Israa Hassan Haji, Hassan Alkhlou, Ali Hassan Abdulnabi (University of Bahrain), Yousef Khalid Al-Issa (Bahrain Polytechnic), Alaa Mohammed Al-Shafei (Royal University for Women), Sheikha Suleiman Buhaimed (Shaikha Hessa Girls School). Safeya Janahi (Officer – Business Programs, Tamkeen), Talal Al-Ansari and Israa Janahi from INJAZ Bahrain will be accompanying the team.
