In a strategic partnership with Tamkeen, The 2nd Falak Unreasonable Entrepreneur Weekend Concluded

Serving as a vehicle to educate and inspire start-up entrepreneurs across Bahrain; the 2nd edition of The Falak Unreasonable Weekend, was held on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd of November to coincide with the Global Entrepreneurship Week. The event works in tandem with Bahrain’s Economic Vision to foster entrepreneurship as a key factor in achieving economic growth and sustainable development within the nation.

The extensive “Extreme Learning” entrepreneurship workshop stretched over 2 days was organized in collaboration between Falak Consulting and the Labor Fund “Tamkeen”. The workshop aimed to add value for participating entrepreneurs by providing a channel towards essential experience and expertise that further augments their conceptualization along with insight into real life situations and solutions.

Commenting on supporting the workshop for the 2nd consecutive year, Tamkeen’s Chief Executive, Dr Ebrahim Janahi, said: “At Tamkeen, we believe that innovation and entrepreneurship are key elements that support the national objectives of the Kingdom, which in turn helps stimulate the SME sector, develop the non-oil private sector and improve the competitiveness of Bahrain.” He continued “Innovative knowledge sharing workshop like the Falak Unreasonable Entrepreneur Weekend provides our young promising entrepreneurs with the chance to learn from peers who already led the path of entrepreneurship in Bahrain and abroad; ambitious entrepreneurs could learn so much from listening to the success stories of other entrepreneurs.”

The 2nd Falak Unreasonable Entrepreneur Weekend is in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision, and achieving its two primary objectives; to foster the development and growth of enterprises, and to provide support to enhance the productivity and training of the national workforce.

Addressing the mettle and resilience of the average entrepreneur, Falak Consulting Founder, CEO and main speaker Suhail Algosaibi, said “This extraordinary new entrepreneurship ‘deep dive’ workshop reveals all the amazing secrets to starting, leading, marketing and growing an extraordinary business, and this is exactly what aspiring entrepreneurs deserve to have.” He added “As an entrepreneur who has seen it all – failure before success, I fully understand the value of real life stories and knowledge-sharing as they enable entrepreneurs to propose innovative ideas, and this is ideal for the fast-paced knowledge-based economies we live in where innovation and originality are the mainstay for any enterprise – of any size – to stand out and survive.”

The Falak Unreasonable Weekend speakers consisted of Suhail Algosaibi, a seasoned award-winning Bahraini entrepreneur, consultant, startup investor and mentor; Maniza Dewan, a veteran consultant with in-depth experience in the areas of strategy and operations, who has been part of several global engagements across North America, Western Europe and Asia; and Jitender Shekhawat who has an extensive experience in developing strategies related to growth, market entry, and overall corporate operations as well as building governance frameworks to prepare organizations for growth.
