Hope Ventures opens registration for Season 2 of Beban show

Press Release.

Hope Ventures, the investment arm of Hope Fund, announced it is accepting applications for a second round, inviting potential local entrepreneurs to register and take part in Bahrain’s first entrepreneurship-themed television show, Beban

The launch of a second season of the show comes as a direct result of the successful conclusion of Beban’s premier season, which acts as a platform to promote ambitious entrepreneurs, providing them with an investment opportunity to take their businesses to the next level with the necessary support from corporate entities and private investors.

Commenting on the occasion, H.E. Aymen bin Tawfeeq Almoayed, Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs and Hope Fund Chairman, said: “Beban creates mutually beneficial opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors from multiple sectors to expand their businesses and turn their visions into a reality. We are pleased to launch a second season of the show, and look forward to greater success stories as we actively contribute towards growing Bahraini businesses locally, regionally and globally.”

General Manager of Hope Ventures, Fajer Al Pachachi, stated: “We look forward to utilizing the show’s second season as a chance to introduce more Bahraini businesses to the market. Beban provides local  entrepreneurs with a platform to exhibit their businesses and further develop their offerings.

The second season will showcase a larger number of promising participants, and foster a deeper understanding  of business and local investment among the audience. We’d like to invite all local entrepreneurs to come forward with their concepts and apply to participate in Beban, wishing them the best of luck in developing their business ideas and creating their success stories”.

The new season of the show is set to welcome over 20 local businesses, who will be selected through an evaluation process comprising 5 stages; starting with screening businesses for viability based on certain criteria, followed by an evaluation stage lead by experts and specialists in the business sector. Candidates will then be nominated to take part in a training stage, which will begin towards the fourth quarter of the current year.

The final stage will announce the eligible finalists, who will then go on to film the production’s episodes.

Hope Ventures invites all those within the local community to share their business ideas by sending an email to Hello@hopefund.bh or by registering online through their website.
