HiGuests, a Dubai-based property management startup closes $1.1m from leading real estate player in Spain

Dubai-based property management startup HiGuests announced that they’ve closed a $1.1 million investment from Forcadell, a leading real estate player in Spain.

HiGuests was founded in 2016 in Dubai by Miquel Manzanas & Oriol Plana, and it helps manage short-term rentals on behalf of their owners. Their portfolio includes numerous properties including Airbnb, Booking.com, HomeAway, Stayz, and Expedia, to post-check in assistance for the guests. HiGuests also has its own booking platform, allowing guests to book their own rooms.

Basically, property owners used HiGuests to market their properties on booking platforms, in addition to communicating with guests, and facilitate cleaning services and essentials. The startup takes a 20% cut from the net rental income of the properties they manage.

The company already operates in other major global short-term rental markets and manages over 300 properties, including Dubai, Goa, Mumbai, and Barcelona.
