Export Bahrain has won the ‘Best Export Service Facilitators for SMEs’ from the acclaimed International Finance Awards 2021 which recognizes industry capabilities on an international platform.
Winning a third consecutive international award in 2021 is a global testament of Export Bahrain’s integral role and keen efforts in empowering Bahrain-based SMEs by supporting and nurturing them to explore and access new opportunities in global marketplaces.
These efforts have resulted in facilitating over USD 130 million in SME export value for Bahrain-based SMEs during the past three years since the inception of Export Bahrain. This award is in line with Export Bahrain’s vision to encourage exports and its continuous pursue to gain recognition for Bahrain-based brands in markets across the GCC region and further across the world.
This award is the third international honouring received by Export Bahrain in 2021, as the initiative was named the ‘Best International Deal Facilitators for Start-up Exporters’ in the Global Business Outlook Awards 2021 and the ‘Best Company in Accelerating the Growth of Products and Services Made in Bahrain’ by the Globee Golden Bridge Awards in the same period.
Export Bahrain is one of the prominent entities in the Kingdom of Bahrain, with a primary focus designed to promote, nurture, and accelerate the growth and exports of local businesses, products, and services. The initiative leverages on the strengths of its strategic partners, regional and international key players and in turn, helps Bahrain-based SMEs and startups grow their footprint in regional and international markets, thus creating a successful roadmap to reinforce Bahrain’s position as a strategic global export hub.

Export Bahrain has supported SMEs based in Bahrain to export more than 56 different product and service categories across various economic sectors. Since its inception in November 2018, Export Bahrain has supported products and services that are made in Bahrain reach more than 57 markets across the GCC, Asia, Africa, Europe, Australia, United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
