Etisalat partners up with 4 scaleups to deploy AI and Blockchain solutions

Following the successful Dubai Future Accelerators program, Future Now, the innovation program of UAE-based telecom group Etisalat signs agreements with four scaleup to develop AI and Blockchain solutions.

Furthermore, the signing ceremony marked the opening of the Future Now scale-up, a collaborative space designed for Etisalat Digital partners. Those include Yitu Technology (China), Com IoT technology (UAE), 300cubits (Hong Kong), and Tradefin (USA).

The selected companies mentioned above will continue in the Future Now scale-up program where they will receive some awesome benefits from Etisalat, such as access to Etisalat Digital resources and experts, office space, and support.

Back in July, Etisalat Digital launched three challenges for its fifth cohort of Dubai Future Accelerators. The challenges opened to companies from all around the world, included methods to leverage AI for video surveillance systems and create solutions to reduce crime rates and road congestion. The second challenge was about the usage of Blockchain to reduce transactional costs and complexity in business processes for banks, governments, and private organizations. And finally, the last challenge focused on the adoption of Blockchain to exchange various loyalty currencies and to transform a loyalty currency into a cryptocurrency that can be used to perform online and physical transactions.

Yitu Technology and Com IoT Technologies were selected for the first challenge, and 300cubits was selected for the second challenge, and finally Tradefin was selected for the third challenge.

The partnership with these companies will accelerate the deployment of AI and Blockchain technologies within Etisalat which in turn will boost their client base. The scale-up program is an important key pillar of the Future Now program as it aims to provide a dedicated collaborative platform innovatoers, partners, and customers.
