Egypt’s Entrepreneurship & Start-Ups Sector Projected to Grow Further in 2017

Daily News Egypt cited a report from officials at venture capital firms who believe that the entrepreneurship sector is expected to grow in 2017, due to the rise of many innovative solutions to community problems.

Global Entrepreneurship Index ranks Egypt 81st in terms of entrepreneurship. According to Forbes statistics, the volume of investments in the 20 most prominent startups in Egypt amounted to $24.2m, compared to $41.6m in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

It’s largely interesting to see Egypt poised to grow despite its unstable currency situation. We look forward to seeing more innovations from the region at large!
