DIFC’s Governor just announced some great news for FinTech startups

Governor of Dubai International Financial  Center (DIFC), Essa Kazim, just announced a FinTech fund worth $100 million that’s going to be used to support early and growth stage FinTech startups.

The fund isn’t just supporting local projects, but it also various other international startups from Latin American, Africa, India, Southeast Asia, and China. The fund is currently being financed and managed by DIFC, but if new shareholders wish to join, it would be separately controlled, said Kazim.
