Careem has expanded to more than 80 cities in the broader Menatp region and has grown at over 30% month-on-month during its five years since its launch.
Co-Founder and CEO of Careem Mudassir Sheikha said: “We are extremely proud of what we have accomplished in these five years and are humbled by the impact that our technology and our service has had on people’s lives and livelihood, but this is really just the start.”
Sheikha also mentioned that they’re looking forwards to the next five upcoming years where they’re planning to further scale their Careem services and reach their goal towards a “driverless future and turning Careem into a world-class institution for research and innovation.”
