Cairo’s IoT startup Garment IO bags a seed investment from 500 Startups in its third round of MENA Dojo

A unique startup is booming out of Cairo. After being awarded at the RiseUp pitch competition in December, being incubated at the Egyptian Technology Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) and becoming a finalist at the MIT Enterprise Forum Arab Business Competition, Garment IO joins 500 Startups in its third round of MENA Dojo Series A Program with 13 other startups.

Garment IO is a plug and play software and hardware solution that helps garment factories increase productivity and quality by up to 25% by gathering real-time data from production lines to uncover inefficiencies. It empowers decision makers to detect production problems before they happen and make the right decisions to resolve them at the right time.
