UAE-based job recruitment platform Bayt.com and the online market research company YouGov conducted a survey on employment in the MENA region. Results found that 62% of the respondents prefer to be self-employed, however, their finances prevent them from achieving their goal.
The research was done between October 1st until the 22nd, where 4,750 people in total were surveyed from various MENA countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Lebanon, Jordan, Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Sudan, and Pakistan.
