Bahrain Polytechnic’s students paid a visit to Bahrain Airport Company, here’s why

Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the operator and managing body of Bahrain International Airport (BIA) welcomed Bahrain Polytechnic’s Logistics major students at the airport’s premises.

The visit was a part of an awareness campaign launched by Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) which seeks to provide students with the opportunity to explore the cargo and logistics sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Khaled AlNemah, Cargo and Logistics Business Development Officer gave a presentation to the students on BAC’S role in developing and supporting the cargo and logistics sector. The students were also given a tour of the cargo terminal, which was organized in coordination with Bahrain Airport Services (BAS), the ground handler operator at BIA.

BAC is the authority responsible for enhancing BIA and increasing the airport’s contribution to the local economy in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030. In its operational role, BAC is responsible for elevating the airport’s operations, infrastructure, and services. This is set to improve BIA’s capabilities and cater to the growing number of passengers as well as the changing demands of stakeholders.
