Bahrain Bourse Kicks off the 20th TradeQuest Challenge for high school students

Bahrain Bourse (BHB) announced the kick-off of its 20th TradeQuest Challenge for high school students for the school year 2017-2018.

The kick-off meeting was held at Bahrain Bourse’s premises where all participating students and teams’ school advisers attended the event in addition to the investment advisors who will be monitoring and coaching the teams during the program.

TradeQuest is a simulated business-education partnership program that focuses on investment trading in world financial markets, which operated for the first time in the Kingdom of Bahrain in 1997 in cooperation with financial institutions and educational parties. TradeQuest consists of three trading periods where the schools are required to present their strategy, objectives, and performance to the Investment Review Committee at the end of each trading period.

This year’s TradeQuest program includes a total of 18 school teams, including 8 private schools and they are: Abdul Rahman Kanoo International School, Bahrain Bayan School, Bahrain School, Al-Hekma International School, Ibn Khuldoon National School, Naseem International School, Al Noor International School, and St. Christopher’s School, and 10 Government Schools and they are: East Riffa Secondary Boys School, Al Hidaya Al Khalifiya Secondary Boys School, Al Hidd Secondary Girls School, Al-Istiqlal Secondary Girls School, Jidhafs Secondary Girls School, Khawla Secondary Girls Schools, Al Noor Secondary Girls School, Saar Secondary Girls School, Sitra Secondary Girls School, Al Ta’awon Secondary Boys School.
