One of the leading startup competitions in the world, Seedstars World is coming to Jordan to select the most promising early-stage startup for a unique chance to participate in the global pitch competition Seedstars Summit, which will be held next year in Switzerland.
Seedstars’ application is open for startups that are less than 2 years old and have raised less than $500,000 in funding, and have a minimum viable product. The startup should have some traction and the ability to scale regionally and globally.
Meghan Warner, Regional Manager for MENA Seedstars spoke about the pitch competition saying: “Since this will be our 4th time organizing the event in Amman, the stakes are high and we are very excited. We’ve been in this ecosystem for more than four years now and know there are companies in Jordan developing high-quality products.”
Ten best startups will be selected from the applications, and they will be given five minutes to pitch in front of a local jury. Not only will the winner get a chance to compete against 65 other countries and win monetary prices of up to $1 million, but the top 3 selected startups from Seedstars Amman pitch competition will also be fast-tracked to the final round of The Tank’s incubation application process.
Seedstars Amman pitch competition will be hosted at the local incubator The Tank on the 19th of July, at 4 PM.
