Almentor.net, a fast-growing video e-learning platform in MENA, has confirmed that it raised $6.5 million in a Series-B round led by Partech. Other VC firms to have participated in the round include Egypt Ventures, Sawari Ventures, and Sango Capital.
With the success of this round, the total capital raised by Almentor currently stands at a sizable $14.5 million.
The startup launched in 2016 to pioneer the then-underserved market of online learning content in Arabic. To date, Almentor has offered more than two million successful learning experiences while simultaneously signing 80+ enterprise partnerships throughout MENA.
The platform is known for providing exclusive training courses alongside mentorship by noted experts across various disciplines. The content offered are fine tuned to uplift the learners both professionally and personally.
The company’s CEO and co-founder, Dr. Ihab Fikry, recently commented:
