American University of Bahrain and Winners Football Center sign MoU

Riffa, Bahrain: The American University of Bahrain (AUBH) and Winners Football Center (WFC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on September 16, 2020, on AUBH’s 75,000 square meter campus in Riffa. AUBH Chief Operating Officer, William D. Hurt and WFC Managing Director, Fawaz Albinmohamed formalized the relationship aiming to expand the University’s sports offerings on campus, and present AUBH Students with an unparalleled football experience. Students will have access to extensive training and activities, along with both national and international football-related opportunities.

WFC is one of the top football centers in the region, paving the way to success for young athletes by delivering training from qualified coaches specialized in football and overall fitness. The organization also nurtures students’ self-confidence, teamwork skills and mental strength. 

Chief Operating Officer, William D. Hurt commented: “With health and wellness at the heart of AUBH’s mission and vision, we are thrilled to welcome WFC to the AUBH community. We look forward to kicking off a series of soccer activities on campus very soon.”
