2016 Women in ICT Awards – Celebrating female innovation and entrepreneurship

Nominations for the 2016 Women in ICT Awards are closing this week, and ARN is encouraging the industry to come together to celebrate female excellence in Australia.

In its fifth year, WIICTA recognises and celebrates the achievements of talented female front runners who have become influential figures in Australia’s ICT industry.

In recognising the efforts of women in technology, ARN is encouraging female entrepreneurs and innovators to put themselves and/or their peers forward and showcase their contributions to the ICT industry.

The Entrepreneur award recognises the candidate who has achieved outstanding results in the ICT industry; an enterprising individual who has achieved success through risk-taking and initiative, often shattering the status quo in business in order to set up new ventures, products or new services.

Nominees can address risk-taking and initiative they took to achieve noted success; noted contributions to the ICT industry, and how their professional achievements have enabled new ventures, products or new services.
