Mahmood Changed The World, But Rotaract Changed Him.

They say nothing in life is free, but “they” must not have met the members behind of Rotaract Bahrain.

The service-driven organisation is part of the Rotary Club in Bahrain and provides a way for young professionals to give back to their communities.

“Rotaract is a lifestyle. Until and unless you’re ready to adapt and practice it, you will not be able to enjoy doing it,” said Mahmood Ghuloom, Rotaract’s Vice President.

Through Rotaract, Mahmood has built connections all over the world while raising money for projects like sending medical equipment to countries in need. “It was my university, but free of charge”, Mahmood tells us, whose closest friends are ones he met through Rotaract Bahrain.

“We join Rotaract to change the world, only to realise that Rotaract has changed us,” Mahmood said. “And I’m glad it did.”

Mahmood spends the majority of his day in financial management in the Medal Group of companies in Bahrain.
