Startup MGZN spoke to Fatima Saeed, founder of the first mobile salon in Bahrain – Go Gorgeous Mobile Salon. Fatima Saeed came up with the idea when she noticed people’s frustrations when it came to traffic and being waitlisted in salons. That’s when Fatima took it upon herself to open up Go Gorgeous – so instead of people going all the way to salons, all people have to do is ring them up, book a timing and service, and wait for them to make their way to you.
We asked Fatima what made her mobile salon business different than others, and she said, “The main thing that distinguishes us from our competitors is that we bring the salon experience to you wherever you are while at the same time providing the best quality hygienic services at a reasonable price.”
We were also curious to find out how Fatima set up her business and what she did to make it happen, “Tamkeen was and continues to be Go Gorgeous main supporter and one of the bodies we attribute our success to.” According to Fatima, Tamkeen’s involvement played a massive role in kick-starting her business. Tamkeen was helpful enough and provided the necessary equipment, training, education, and fixed assets needed to get Go Gorgeous up and running, and that if it were not for Tamkeen, Go Gorgeous would not be here today in all its glory.
